I once had a pair of gloves, they were big and blue with insulation. Somehow they became known as the blue mammals. Although they were good for not getting soaked or ruined with ice melt, they were only good for ten below only. After that they froze and became hard. They are still alive today compared to the hundreds of gas station gloves I have used.In the last three years alone I bought over one hundred pairs with nothing to show for it. They are all in the local landfill

This reminds me of the good sweaters I've bought that last 5 - 10 years compared to Walmart sweaters that last a year.
What are gloves? Baseball gloves?
