Boxing Day
Why do Canadians criticize Black Friday so much when we have something even more ridiculous, Boxing Day. Our shopping day comes after the fact the day after Christmas when people are supposed to be enjoying the gifts they just got. Instead in Canada we need more stuff, because we are not satisfied after the biggest gift giving day in the world . It seems Black Friday just makes more sense on the scale of logic then Boxing Day.

Agree totally...we are such a stuff centered country. Boxing Day should be renamed...here is how an old ad from Sears advertised their Boxing Day sale..."Everything you wanted, but didn't get for Christmas, is on sale now at Sears". Kinda sums up the whole attitude. I think our nation is getting too far from the 'want' versus 'need' adage.
